France's Caroline Jouisse and Alessio Occhipinti of Italy are the winners of the second leg of the FINA UltraMarathon Swim Series 2021, held at the prestigious and iconic 36km race in Capri-Napoli, Italy.

Jouisse touched home first in 6h49m23s9 for gold, a jump up from the first leg in Ohrid (MKD) where she finished second behind teammate Oceane Cassignol. Right behind Jouisse was French swimmer Lisa Pou in 6h52m38s5 for silver and Italy's Rebecca Talanti came third in 7h08min59s5.

Argentina's Pila Geijo finished in fourth position in 7h21m36s4, while teammate Romina Imwinkelried ranked sixth in 7h28m52s5.

A completely fresh and new podium scene in the men's event as Occhipinti was the fastest in 6h32m20s6, while Marcel Schouten (NED, 6h34m33s4) and Simone Ruffini (ITA, 6h34m44s3) claimed silver and bronze respectively.

Axel Reymon (FRA) did not make the podium today despite his victory in Ohrid (MKD). He touched home in fifth position in 6h36m40s4. UltraMarathon's first leg silver medallist Edoardo Stochino (ITA) came tenth today in 7h01m46s9 and Macedonia's Evgenij Pop Acev secured the sixth position, clocking a time of 6h37m13s3.
