Bregje de Brouwer & Noortje de Brouwer’s silver medal in the Women’s Duet Free is the Netherlands’ first medal in any artistic swimming event at a World Aquatics Championships.

Gustavo Sanchez’s bronze medals in the Men’s Solo Technical & Men’s Solo Free move him to outright first on most medals won in men’s individual artistic swimming events at the World Aquatics Championships (3).

Giorgio Minisini’s two medals take his career medal tally in all artistic swimming events at the World Aquatics Championships to ten, the most won by any male athlete. 

The People’s Republic of China’s seven gold medals is the nation’s best gold medal haul in artistic swimming at a single edition of the World Aquatics Championships having only won eight gold medals in total across all previous editions.

The People’s Republic of China’s seven gold medals now move the nation to outright second on the all-time medal table (15 gold), surpassing the United States of America (14 gold).

Yang Shuncheng’s gold medal in the Men’s Solo Technical is the People’s Republic of China’s first medal won in individual male events at a World Aquatics Championships.
