Hungary defeated Spain in Budapest (HUN) last night (December 19) in the second round of the FINA Women's Water Polo World League 2018 European preliminaries.
In a very tight game, Hungary scored 10 goals and Spain 9, despite the latter leading the last quarter (4-1, 3-2, 2-2, 1-4).
The other game of the second round, Russia vs the Netherlands, will be played on Friday December 22 in Astrakhan (RUS).

Both the men and women's preliminary rounds of the World League will resume in January - on January 30 for the women, while the men will dispute their third round on January 16.
