Hungary's Kristof Rasovsky and Ana Marcela Cunha of Brazil were the best on Saturday at the fifth leg of the 2017 edition of the FINA/HOSA Marathon Swimming World Cup in Lac Megantic (CAN).

The respectively touched home in 1:58:18.0 for Rasovszky and 2:06.12.86 for Cunha.

Cunha's teammate Alla Do Carmo touched home third in the men's race, achieving a time of 1:58.25.02, while Italy Federico Vanelli took silver in 1:58:21.06.

Italy did great in the women's operations by clinched the silver and bronze medals at stake. Rachele Bruni clocked a time of 2:06:14.52 and Arianna Bridi followed extremely close behind in 2:06:14.87.

The sixth and penultimate leg of the FINA/HOSA Marathon Swimming World Cup will take place in Chun'An, China on October 15.
