Close to 300 divers from 30 National Federations arrived in Wuhan (CHN) for the FINA Diving World Cup 2018, a seven-day competition starting today June 4 and running until Sunday June 10.

The competition features all eight Olympic events as well as the two mixed events.

The competition schedule unfolds as follows:

Chinese Olympic and World champions Shi Tingmao and teammates Yuan Cao, Xie Siyi and Chen Aisen are among the national stars to watch this week in Wunhan. 

Many top divers such as Vincent Riendeau, Philippe Gagne, François Imbeau-Dulac, Jennifer Abel and Meaghan Benfeito will represent Team Canada. 

France's young talent Benjamin Auffret, revealed in Rio 2016 Olympic Games, will be in Wuhan, while Jamaica's Yona Knight-Wisdom will also take the plunge. 

From Russia, Nikita Shleikher will ensure the show. 

Strong teams from USA and Australia are also expected to perform this week.

Veteran Patrick Hausding of Germany will compete in the individual and synchronised 3m. 

In the women's competition, apart from the divers mentioned above, Pandelela Pamg (MAS) and Korea's Kim Kwang Hui and Kim Mi Hwa will be present.

The last edition in February 2016 was a qualifying event for the 2016 Olympic Games but this 21st edition will serve as an entry point for the FINA/CNSG Diving World Series 2019.
