The team of Ukraine was in evidence during the first leg of the 2020 FINA Artistic Swimming World Series, by earning seven gold medals out of the 10 finals contested in Paris (FRA), on March 6-8. The remaining winners in the French competition were Spain – two titles –, and France, with one victory.

Marta Fiedina, from Ukraine, was one of the athletes to beat during the weekend, with triumphs in both the Solo finals – Technical and Free -, but also in the Duet competition (pairing with Anastasiya Savchuk in the Tehnical and Free routines). Ukraine’s supremacy was also notorious in the Team Free, Highlights Routine and Free Combination finals, where three additional gold medals were won.

In the Mixed Duet events – Technical and Free -, the Spanish pair Emma Garcia/Pau Ribes was stronger, while France got its sole title in the Team Technical presentation, generating a huge enthusiasm from its fans at the Georges Vallerey pool.

Other countries medalling in Paris included United States – six podium presences, comprising three silver -, Germany, Liechtenstein, Israel, Great Britain and Finland.
