Montreuil, next to Paris, France, is set to host the inaugural leg of the FINA Artistic Swimming World Series 2018, the second edition of the newest FINA event that integrates recognised artistic swimming competitions around the globe and establishes an international ranking based on points accumulated over a ten-meet circuit.

The event will take place at the nautical stadium of Maurice Thorez from Friday March 9 to Sunday March 11 and will welcome teams from China, Spain, Italy, Japan, Russia and Ukraine.

World and Olympic champions Svetlana Kolesnichenko (RUS), Ona Carbonell (ESP), the Jiang sisters (CHN) and male competitor Aleksandr Maltsev (RUS) and Giorgio Minisini (ITA) will once more demonstrate their flexibility, endurance, gracefulness, and core strength-as well as extraordinary breath control in Montreuil.

After Montreuil, the discipline world's greatest will be performing routines that require strength and grace of a ballet dance skills in Beijing (CHN, April 20-22), Tokyo (JPN, April 27-30), Samorin (SVK, May 11-13), Budapest (HUN, May 18-20), Madrid (ESP, 25-27), Surrey BC (CAN, May 30-June 2), Los Angeles (USA, June 7-9), Syros Island (GRE, June 15-17), Tashkent (UZB, June 29-July 1).
