"I'm very happy I performed my best today. The 107B is my favourite dive in the training, it's the first time I perform so well in the competition," said Stratton. "I'll train hard after I go home and I hope I can have good results at the Roma FINA World Championships in July," she added.

However, Stratton's fellow Matthew Mitcham was unhappy as he failed to enter the men's 10m platform final. The reigning Olympic champion said:"I've never done the World Series before and I didn't feel well in the last few days. I had two ears affections and stomach sickness. I didn't train properly for two days." Olympic runner-up Zhou Lvxin scored six 10 points for his last dive to take the men's platform title on 560.00, ahead of teammate Qiu Bo (542.25) and Thomas Daley of Britain (540.70).

Chen Ruolin collected her second gold in CHangzhou when she paired with Kang Li to top the women's 10m platform synchro on 372.00. Melissa Wu/Briony Cole of Australia and Josephine Moeller/Nora Subschinski of Germany came second and third respectively.

Qin Kai added men's 3m springboard synchro victory together with Olympic champion partner Wang Feng on 467.25 to his individual title on Friday. Russian duo Dmitry Sautin/Yuriy Kunakov grabbed the silver while the bronze went to German pair Pavlo Rozenberg/Sascha Klein.

The World Series will next come to Sheffield (GBR) on April 18-19 and then in Mexico City (MEX) on April 24-25.
