DOPING OFFENCE - Omar Ahmed Essa (EGY)

On 26^th November 2018, the swimmer Omar Ahmed Essa (EGY) was tested positive in competition to the prohibited substances Dromostanolone (Class S1.1.a Anabolic Androgenic Steroids) and THC (Class S8 Cannabinoids).

The Disciplinary Committe of the Egyptian Anti-Doping Organisation imposed a sanction of four (4) years’ ineligibility period on the athlete starting on 20^th February 2019 and ending on 19^th February 2023, for his first anti-doping rule violation.
