Kyle Chalmers thinks everything is huge in America

"I love racing, especially against the best in the world. I am looking forward to putting on a show for the US crowd. This event is huge."

Kyle also wants a never-ending Swimming World Cup:

"If it was possible, I would love to be on a FINA World Cup tour all year round.  If I could travel the world and meet new friends and race against some of these friends who are among the best in the world, sign me up."

We know what event Kyle will swim at every meet:

"The 100 freestyle is my baby. I've been so successful over so many years. Having new guys come in to challenge me is what excites me, and there is no better feeling than winning the event I love the most."

On 'big dogs' and new guys challenging for crowns and short course global titles:

"Having new guys coming in each week to challenge me for the title, I love the fight. I love the pre-race (ready) rooms. I love challenging myself against the best in the world.  Melbourne will be no different with some big dogs rolling in. But I really look forward to battling them on my home soil."

"It feels like a mini world championships, but compressed into three days in three great cities throughout the world.   Anyone participating in the Swimming World Cup series is getting used to racing a lot of events back-to-back. I think this will give me not only greater confidence in myself, but also toughness, both are valuable."

"Any meet, big or small, I always focus on and want to show out. That is how I carry myself and I think people appreciate that."

Shaine just likes to see speed:

"It’s always nice to see anyone swim fast and I think we can appreciate that. If I can’t be swimming fast, I would love for somebody to be swimming fast to motivate me to get to go fast."

Shaine also likes cashing those winners' checks:

"Sometimes you can't always win but with a little cash on the line, things are more interesting."
