As an Official FINA Partner since 2007, and in order to support professional photographers, Nikon Professional Services (NPS) set up a depot in the Duna Arena offering support such as camera equipment inspection, cleaning, and temporary loans to professional photographers during the 19th FINA World Championships Budapest 2022.
Nikon also loaned the flagship mirrorless Z 9 and the recently released NIKKOR Z 400mm f / 2.8 TC VR S with a built-in teleconverter, which were both very well received by photographers.
Underwater photography is also popular in recent swimming competitions, and AFP, who has a partnership with Nikon, installed the Z 9 for the first time in MRMC's underwater robotics. By operating it in conjunction with the remote-control Nikon NX Field, impressive underwater photography was taken.
AFP also installed underwater robotics for artistic swimming and swimming. Shooting using NX Field and high-speed image transfer made it possible to deliver the decisive moment to the world very speedily. The NX Field was compatible with the D5 and D6 in June of last year, the Z 6/Z 7 and Z 6II/Z 7II in February of this year, and the long-awaited Z 9 in April this year.
