Close to gold

Before his consecration at the 2017 World Championships, LoBue had earned three medals at the FINA World Cup: silver in 2017, bronze in 2014 and 2015

Budapest win

Steve LoBue earned at the 2017 FINA World Championships in Budapest his first gold in a FINA competition, concluding the event with 397.15 points

King of somersaults

Known as the "king of somersaults", Steve LoBue is the only high diver of the circuit capable of executing five of them in a single dive!

Olympic dream

LoBue (1.61m/62kg) is a New Jersey native but residing in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. At 32, he is married and father of a baby girl
