Igor Milanovic was one of the most emblematic players of the Yugoslavian team that shone in men’s Water Polo during the 1980s. Nicknamed “Prince Igor”, he wore the national cap (always number 5) on 349 occasions and was decisive for the victories of his team at the 1984 and 1988 Olympics, the world championships’ gold medal in 1986 and 1991, and also the triumph in the 1987 and 1989 editions of the World Cup.
