Lake Ohrid in North Macedonia will play host to the first FINA UltraMarathon Swim Series of the 2021 season.

Several big names of the discipline are highlighting the line-up: World champion (5km, Team event, 2017) and Rio 2016 bronze medallist Marc-Antoine Olivier of France, also winner in Doha 2021 10km Marathon Swim World Series and 6th at Tokyo 2020, as well as France’s Axel Reymond, World champion (2019, 25km), and successful athletes Evgenij Pop Acev (MKD) and Marcel Schouten (NED). 

Amongst the female participants are Oceane Cassignol (FRA), Doha 10km silver medallist, and veteran Pilar Geijo of Argentina. Full Entries available here. The information bulletin can be found at this link
