Why this sport?
She took part in swimming and rhythmic gymnastics from an early age. She wanted to try artistic swimming, but also began playing volleyball. In 2000 she chose to pursue artistic swimming as she enjoyed the sport more.

RETIREMENT
After the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro she decided to retire from international competition. "I decided to leave the Brazilian team in order to be able to work.
