On September 11, 2017, the Swimming Australia Limited issued a decision in the case of Jarrod Poort (AUS) regarding his violation of the DC Rule 2.4 – a combination of three missed tests within a twelve-month period.

The Swimming Australia Limited decided to impose on the athlete a period of one (1) year ineligibility starting on September 5, 2017 and ending at the conclusion of September 4, 2018 for his first anti-doping rule violation.
