RETIREMENT
He retired from the sport after winning a bronze medal at the 2017 World Championships in Budapest, Hungary. He would like to stay involved in the sport as a coach or start pedagogy studies and work with children. "I thought about ending my career in Rio, but I was not satisfied with my fourth place. I want to thank Patrick [Hausding] for all the beautiful years. I am proud of us, but on the other hand I am also sad, because I will miss a few things.
