In the last final of the competition, the Free Combination (attended by more than 4000 spectators), Russia was once more first (91.610), getting the fourth title out of the four events contested in Volos.

That was the fifth gold for Russia in Free Combination since the entry of this event in the programme of these Championships (in 2002).

The silver medal went to Ukraine (88.900) and bronze to Spain (87.360), while Japan was fourth.

In the medals' table, Russia was first with four gold medals, followed by Japan (three silver), Ukraine (one silver and two bronze), and Canada and Spain (one bronze each).
