China performed to the music of the movie Alice in Wonderland and collected 97.200 to take the silver. It was their first ever World Cup medal. Zhang Xiaohua, former team captain and now a coach of the Chinese national team for one year, said: "I'm proud of my girls, for their excellent performance tonight which was better than in the preliminary. We are happy to win the silver. It's a breakthrough for us."

After an impressive Riverdance show, Canada came to third in 96.000, which marked their comeback to the world top-three in 14 years. Julie Sauvé, coach of Canada, asked: "Have you enjoyed our street dance? It is for 14 years that we are back to the world top-three. I'm exciting about it."

Japan and Ukraine came fourth and fifth respectively.

The Duet event will take place on Sept. 17, with China's twins Jiang Wenwen/Jiang Tingting as the biggest gold contenders since Russia will not compete in the event and world's powerhouse Spain is absent from this four-day World Cup.
