Russia, Italy and the Netherlands dominated their respective games on Tuesday February 12 when the women's Water Polo World League Game Day 9 was played in Ruza (RUS), Mulhouse (FRA) and Budapest (HUN).
Group A's Russia beat the Israeli team 28-5, scoring six goals in the first two and last quarters of the game (6-2, 6-2, 1-0, 6-1). Russia has won all its matches since the beginning of the European qualification phase and has accumulated 17 points.
Group B's Hungary was defeated 10-11 at home by the Dutch thanks to a powerful first quarter for the visiting team (3-6, 2-3, 2-1, 3-1).
Group B's leaders Italy also won 14-8 against their French opponents despite two tied quarters in the middle of the game (3-1, 3-3, 2-2, 6-2). Italy maintains its leading position of the group with 15 points and five out of five wins.

GROUP B: 1. Italy 15pts; Hungary 8pts; Netherlands 7pts; France 0
The last women's Game Day will be on March 5, SCHEDULE available here, while the Europa Cup Final will be played from March 29-31 in Turin (ITA).
The Men's World League European preliminaries resumes on February 19 .
