The limits of all inspection items meet the national standards or CAC standards. For example, the inspection standard of Clenbuterol meets the upper limit requirements of Clenbuterol residue in livestock products stipulated in regulations of Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, WHO, and CAC, as well as European Union laws and regulations.
The OC will make sure the participating athletes will not have food-borne disease and there will be no food-borne doping in their hotels. Restaurants other than the designated restaurants in the hotels where athletes stay all comply with the existing national food safety standards. The athletes who eat the food they bring themselves or those who do not eat at designated restaurants will bear the food safety risks themselves.
2. Hotels where FINA VIP Officials, Technical Officials, Referees, and Media stay
Food Safety Department of the OC conducts rigorous supervision on the food safety in the hotels where FINA VIP Officials, Technical Officials, Referees, and Media stay. The raw materials of food purchased by the hotels and processed food all comply with the national food safety standards. The OC will make sure the said participants will not have food-borne disease in their hotels.
3. Competition venues
Food Safety Department of the OC conducts rigorous supervision on the safety of food which VIP and Media people eat and food of the restaurants for the public in the venues, and food sold in concessions. The food supplied by the said entities will comply with the national food safety standards in order to prevent food-borne disease. The OC will not provide food for athletes in competition venues. The athletes who eat the food in the venues which they bring themselves will bear the food safety risks themselves.
