FINA 10km Marathon Swimming World Cup 2008

The second race of the FINA 10km Marathon Swimming World Cup 2008 was held on March 15, 2008 in Dubai (UAE).
In the men’s race, the German Thomas Lurz, 2004 and 2006 10km world champion and second in 2007, confirmed his great ambition for the next World Championships in Seville (May 3-8, 2008) and the first 10km Olympic Marathon Swimming of Beijing.
The Brazilian Poliana Okimoto obtained her third FINA victory in a World Cup competition in front of the young Frenchwoman (17 years old) Aurélie Muller and the Italian Martina Grimaldi.
