The seventh and final stage of the inaugural FINA Synchronised Swimming World Series was held this weekend in Tashkent, Uzbekistan's capital, from September 21-24.

Spain's Ona Carbonell shined in both the solo technical and free events, collecting 92.4819 and 92.8419 points respectively. Anna Voloshyna (UKR) and Gulsanam Yuldasheva (UZB) secured the silver and bronze medals in both events.

Ukraine's rising star Voloshyna together with partner Yelyzaveta Yakhno pocketed both gold at stake in the duet events with 90.5789 points in the technical and 90.57.89 in the free routine.

Japan took gold in the mixed events, while Germany and Uzbekistan ranked second and third.

Ukraine was the best in all team events.

The FINA Synchronised Swimming World Series 2017 was launched in January this year and has proven to be a successful new Series concept, allowing athletes to compete at international meets throughout the year, thus additional gaining experience and visibility.

After legs in Paris (FRA), Taiyuan (CHN), Tokyo (JPN), Toronto (CAN), Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ESP) and Long Island (USA), this weekend's action took place at the Tashkent Sakhovat Swimming Centre.
