The Hungarian capital, Budapest, is set to host yet another important milestone of the 2019 Aquatic calendar - the 7th edition of the FINA World Junior Swimming Championships from August 20-25.

Around 800 young promising swimmers aged between 15-18 (women) 14-17 (men) will be taking part in this six-day top-notch competition, which has seen many of today's big swimming stars make their debut in the sport.

125 National Federations will be represented in the state--of-the-art Duna Arena, the venue that staged the 17th FINA World Championships in July 2017 and has been the background to many FINA high-profile competitions since then such as the FINA Champions Swim Series and the Swimming World Cup.

Daily heat sessions will be at 9:30 a.m in Budapest, while semifinals and finals will be at 5:30p.m. The daily schedule is available here

All the sessions will be LIVE streamed on FINAtv and daily news reports will be available on FINA website. Results are available immediately after each event on FINA website and on FINA mobile app.

The FINA World Junior Swimming Championships were first held in 2006 in Rio de Janeiro (BRA), in Monterrey (MEX) in 2008, in Lima (PER) in 2011, in Dubai (UAE) in 2013, in Singapore (SGP) in 2015 and the last edition was held in Indianapolis (USA) in 2017.
