Japan's dominance at the third meet of the brand new FINA Synchronised Swimming World Series 2017 was only disrupted by Spain's Ona Caronell this weekend in Tokyo, Japan, as the 26 year-old athlete grabbed the golds at stake in both the technical and free solo routines. Japan however claimed four of the five golds on offer.

Atsushi Abe / Yumi Adachi (JPN) earned the mixed duet honours by virtue of being the only entrants, while Yukiko Inui first paired with Mai Nakamura and then with Kanami Nakamaki to take gold in the duet technical and free routines respectively.

Japan earned top honours in all team events - Team Free, Team Technical and Free Combination.
