“Kazan is already a well-known spot on the world diving map, - said FINA President Dr. Julio Maglione. – The city has staged the FINA Diving World Series three times before, and has been a great host for the 2015 FINA World Championships and World Summer Universiade 2013. And every time we conduct an event here, we know, that everything will be flawless and well-organised. It is simply a pleasure to come back and see our good friends and true diving fans”.

“Kazan is ready to host the tournament, - went on FINA Executive Director and General Secretary Cornel Marculescu. – It is very important for us. Everything is very convenient and comfortable for the athletes. All the divers are in a good mood before the start of the tournament. I have seen many competitions of different levels throughout my career, and here we all appreciate the excellent preparation and high professionalism of the local Organising Committee.

“We will be happy to see here more than 50 elite divers, representing 12 countries. Every name is either a star or a legend here, and what is very pleasant, is that local fans and spectators know and love them a lot, - said Alexey Vlasenko, FINA Technical Diving Committee Vice-Chairman and Russian Diving Federation President. – Aquatics Palace, the host of the competition, is very very welcoming, and maybe this is why we are pretty determined to come back here every time”.

“We are very grateful for FINA Family for the opportunity to stage such top level events, - returned back the compliment Vladimir Leonov, Minister of Youth Affairs and Sport of the Republic of Tatarstan. – We are very proud of the fact, we have been hosting the FINA Diving World Series for the fourth time. Diving is a fantastic sport, which we all know and love, - concluded the official, smiling.
