On 19 October 2017, the FINA Doping Panel issued a decision in the case of Madeline Groves (AUS) regarding her potential violation of the FINA DC Rule 2.4 – a combination of three missed tests within a twelve-month period.

 

The FINA Doping Panel found that the athlete have committed two whereabouts failures on 18 November 2016 and 6 December 2016. Nevertheless, the FINA Doping Panel decided that the whereabouts failure of 26 March 2017 shall not be registered against Ms Madeline GROVES.

 

Consequently, Ms Madeline GROVES did not commit an anti-doping rule violation under FINA DC Rule 2.4 (a combination of three missed tests within a twelve-month period).
