Boudia insists that Windsor is a great place to compete and apologised for the injury that kept him out of Windsor's inaugural event in 2014.  "When we arrived at the hotel this week everyone was so welcoming to us and we sincerely appreciate this very much. My teammates and I were the ones taking pictures of the staff and the volunteers in their Windsor tee shirts and we posted them to our Facebook pages.

"We are extremely excited to be here and to dive in this great competition. We could not do what we do without the support of FINA and the people of Windsor. Every 10m platform feels different, but this venue feels comfortable to me and I'm ready to dive." said the Olympic champion.

Asked about the mixed synchro event, Boudia said "At first I was skeptical and I had my doubts about the event, but after watching Meaghan and Vincent dive in Beijing, I was sold. This event allows innovation and is a crown pleaser and it's amazing to watch great divers compete in a new event.
