PR 27 – Mixed celebrations in California's Diving Grand Prix

The third leg of the FINA Diving Grand Prix 2019 concluded last night in Mission Viejo, California, USA, as the host nation clinched three gold medals.

In the individual events, Briadam Herrera (USA) took gold with 438.10 in the men's 3m event, while Hailey Hernandez (USA) was the best in the women's equivalent (312.75). Teammates Alison Gibson and Krysta Palmer pocketed the gold on offer in the women's 3m synchro (294.39).

PR 26 – DGP: Canada and China, the best in Calgary

Canada and China dominated operations in the second leg of the 2019 FINA Diving Grand Prix, held in Calgary (CAN), on April 4-7. The locals were slightly better than the Asian powerhouse, earning five gold medals against four for China. Mexico was the third nation with gold in the Canadian meet, after winning the men’s 10m synchro event.

PR 25 - ASWS: Ukraine shines in Alexandroupolis with five titles

The team of Ukraine was in excellent shape in the second leg of the 2019 FINA Artistic Swimming World Series, by earning five gold medals in Alexandroupolis (GRE) on April 5-7. The remaining titles in the Hellenic competition went to Canada (two victories), Israel, Japan and Italy.

Ukrainian swimmers shone in the Solo Free (Marta Fiedina), the two Duet events (Technical and Free), in the Team Technical and Highlight Routine, thus collecting half of the gold medals at stake.

PR 24 – WPWL: Hungary, Croatia and Spain qualify for Super Final

Hungary, Croatia and Spain were the best three teams in the FINA/LEN Men’s Water Polo World League Europa Cup, held in in Zagreb (CRO) on April 5-7, thus ensuring their presence in the Super Final of the competition on June 18-23 in Belgrade (SRB).

In the last match of the tournament in Croatia, the locals could not sustain Hungary, who won by 10-8 (2-2, 3-1, 3-2, 2-3). Viktor Nagy, the Magyar goalkeeper, was the MVP of the game, making some decisive saves for his team. Denes Varga, also from the Hungarian side, was considered the best player of the entire tournament.

PR 23 - WPWL: Zagreb selects best European teams for Super Final

Eight strong European teams are ready to compete for a 2019 FINA Men’s Water Polo World League Super Final qualification spot during the FINA/LEN Europa Cup taking place in Zagreb (CRO) on April 5-7. Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Montenegro, Russia, Serbia and Spain will play the three-day tournament with the goal of fulfilling the three available places for the Super Final of the competition, scheduled in Belgrade on June 18-23. Serbia, as host, is automatically qualified.

PR 21- Six teams to battle it out in Turin (ITA) at inaugural Europa-Cup Final

The first ever edition of the FINA / LEN Water Polo World League Europa Cup Final - Women 2019 is set to be hosted in Turin, Italy, from March 29-31 at the Torino Palanuoto indoor pool.

Six European teams have qualified after taking part in the first European preliminary round which ran from November 2018 until March 2019.
