After flying directly from the FINA World Championships in Gwangju (KOR), Kristof Rasovszky, 22, of Hungary, and Rachele Bruni, 28, of Italy, won gold in the men’s and women’s open water 10km races of the FINA/CNSG Marathon Swim World Series in Lac St-Jean on Sunday July 21.
Rasovszky clocked the best time in 1h53m28s80, marking his second consecutive victory on the 2019 FINA/CNSG World Series tour, following his triumph in Balatonfured in June, while Bruni was the fastest in 2h03m56s4.
