FINA 110

After almost drowning at the age of 3, Carolyn Waldo (CAN) became one of the most successful artistic swimmers in history. Following her first world title (Team) in 1982, she went on by earning silver at the Solo 1984 Olympics, then three gold at the FINA Worlds in 1986 (Solo, Duet and Team), and two more titles at the 1988 Games (Solo and Duet), thus being the first Canadian woman with two gold in the same edition of the Games.
