PR62 - FINA thanks all its Official Partners’ contribution to the success of the 13th FINA WC
Throughout the period July 17-August 2, 2009, FINA’s Official Partners have been contributing products and services to support the staging of the 13th FINA World Championships in Rome (ITA).
Nikon, the renowned digital camera and optical equipment manufacturer, has been providing a full-time camera service depot to the accredited photographers that have come to Rome from all over the world to capture fantastic images from the event.
Yakult, the probiotic drinks company, also provided 240,000 bottles of water free of charge to all the Athletes, Team Officials, Broadcast and Media representatives, Roma09 Volunteers and all other Championships’ participants.
Omega, synonymous with its status as one of the world’s leading watch-makers, has provided all of the timing, scoring and data servicing, for all of the competitions to the exacting standards demanded by FINA and of an event of the status of the FINA World Championships.
Myrtha Pools / Piscine Castiglione has installed temporary swimming pools and filtrations equipment to completely transform the Foro Italico tennis stadia into the marvellous venues for the Synchronised Swimming and Water Polo competitions.
Speedo, the Swimwear and Sports Apparel Company has outfitted the army of dedicated and helpful Roma09 Volunteers, all of the Referees, Judges and Technical Officials and the FINA and Roma09 Organising Committee staff, as well as providing competition swimsuits, goggles and caps to swimmers.
