2003 ANNUAL TESTING

FINA has conducted 1800 tests during the year 2003, 1059 of these were completed out-of-competition.

Out of competition testing (OOCT)

The FINA Unannounced Out-of-Competition Testing Programme for the year 2003 included 624 swimmers from 53 nationalities making a total of 1059 tests.
FINA, in collaboration with the World Anti-Doping Agency, also conducted 284 additional out-of-competition tests.

In competition testing (INCOMP)

385 swimmers from 52 nationalities were tested in competition with the occasion of the 2003 FINA Competitions making a total of 741 tests.
