Out of competition testing (OOCT)

The FINA Unannounced Out-of-Competition Testing Programme 2009 included 748 swimmers from 57 nationalities making a total of 1196 tests.
117 were conducted in cooperation with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).

In competition testing (INCOMP)

449 swimmers from 57 nationalities were tested in competition with the occasion of the FINA Competitions in 2009 making a total of 889 tests.
