2006 ANNUAL TESTING

FINA has conducted 1883 tests in 2006, 1131 of these were completed out-of-competition.

Out of competition testing (OOCT)

The FINA Unannounced Out-of-Competition Testing Programme for the year 2006 included 721 swimmers from 41 nationalities making a total of 1131 tests.
FINA, in collaboration with the World Anti-Doping Agency, also conducted 213 additional out-of-competition tests.

In competition testing (INCOMP)

567 swimmers from 51 nationalities were tested in competition with the occasion of the 2006 FINA Competitions making a total of 752 tests.
