1. Registration procedure

The FINA General Management System (FINA GMS) will be in operation to process all entries and competition applications online. Each National Federation will receive a unique access code for accessing the system and
managing the registration for their delegation.

2. Travel & Accommodation assistance

FINA and the D2014 Organising Committee will provide Accommodation Assistance to a maximum of 3 (three) athletes and 1 (one) coach or representative from the National Federation to compete in the 12th FINA World Swimming Championships for a maximum of 8 nights – (arrival on 30th November 2014 and departure on 8th December 2014).

Team Accommodation Assistance is allocated as follows:

- Free accommodations in double occupancy rooms full board for a maximum of 4 (four) persons in an official 4 star hotel
- A subsidy per day per person, for a maximum of 4 (four) persons in an official 5 star hotel.The subsidy amount is 110 USD.

Each National Federation will be allocated Travel Assistance for the above mentioned persons.

Exact Travel Assistance amount has been communicated to each National Federation by FINA.

3. Team Hotels

Price of the Team Hotels:

5 star hotels: 200 USD Single Room, 260 USD Double Room
4 star hotels: 165 USD Single Room, 220 USD Double Room

4. Registration and qualification of competitors

Each Federation may enter no more than two competitors per individual event, regardless of standards. There is no limit on the number of events in which each competitor may enter (BL

The composition of a relay team may be changed between heats and finals of an event. When preliminaries are swum, medals or diplomas shall be awarded to those swimmers who swam in the heats and the final race (BL

The names of swimmers actually swimming on a relay must be submitted at least one hour before the start of the session in which the event is to take place, in the order in which they are to swim. The names of the swimmers in medley relay events must be listed for their respective strokes (BL

5. Team officials

Individuals who are serving as Team Officials (coaches, managers, chaperons, etc.) cannot serve as Technical Meet Officials.

Each Federation shall be allowed to include in its delegation Team Officials (coaches, managers, trainers, chaperons, etc.) in a number dependent upon the number of competitors entering and participating in accordance with the following:

6. Accreditation

National Federations are to note the number of Team Officials (coaches, managers, chaperons, etc.) allowed by discipline, as detailed above. Requests for additional accreditation passes will be subject to FINA approval and will incur a fee of USD 100.- for every additional accreditation issued.

7. Local transportation

Airport shuttles transfers to official hotels are available for the participating National Federations.

Each hotel will have a dedicated bus line and will operate from 27th November through 9th December 2014 based on the arrival/departure schedule.

The buses will be located outside the HIA Arrivals terminal with dedicated lines to be identified by bus stops and on board signage.

In order to facilitate the airport transfers, the Team Buses will be colour coded. The same colours will be applied for the shuttles from hotels to the competition site.

The Championships Bus Shuttle Service commences on the November 28th through 7th December 2014, with its operational hours to be from 06:30am – 23:00pm.

Each hotel will have an assigned load zone that will be overseen by a Doha 2014 Transportation representative. The Teams bus lines will be identified by specific colour according to the destination. The detailed transportation schedules and
any updates related to will be available at the Information Desk at every official hotel and at the Hamad Aquatics Center.

Information Desks will operate from 06:00 till 23:00.

At Hamad Aquatic Centre (HAC), each client group has a designated load zone where all guests will safely embark and disembark. The frequency of the service will be every 20 minutes, with extra buses to be dispatched during the peak hours in order to maintain a smooth and efficient service.

Transportation will be provided only to the official hotels. Security will be present in every bus in order to ensure all passengers and vehicle safety.
