FINA Development continues programme in the Pacific
Kwajalein Island, the southernmost and largest island in the Kwajalein atoll in the Marshall Islands, played host to a swimming clinic for beginner-level coaches from October 14-27, 2012.
American swimming expert Rick Powers trained 16 participants, focusing on the physiology of training, season planning, motivation, mental training and stroke technique. Kids from local swimming clubs enthusiastically took part in the practical sessions at the swimming pool and at the beach.
