Three-in-one clinic is a hit in Noumea (FRA)

A clinic for open water and swimming officials and referees (intermediate to advanced level) was conducted jointly by FINA TOWSC Member John West (NZL) and FINA TSC Vice-chairman Don Blew (AUS) from May 28 to June 2 at Noumea's Dumbea Aquatic Centre, New Caledonia. 30 participants, coming from both New Caledonia and New Zealand, attended the course.

The participants could test their newly acquired skills at the Oceania Championships, taking place at the same time at the Aquatic Centre.

Meanwhile, a clinic for synchro coaches was also organised on the island. Maria Kolchina, Sport consultant in synchronised swimming at the Fédération Française de Natation, trained 12 participants, both locals and coming from neighbouring countries Australia and New Zealand.

The course covered the following topics: mobility and pool coverage, physical preparation, specific preparation, height in figures and patterns changing.
