The hosts for these Championships, the Ajuntament de Barcelona and the Real Federación Española de Natación, have established an Organising Committee, which shall be in charge of the preparation and organisation of the competitions under the control and supervision of FINA.

The events will be held in Barcelona (ESP) with the following schedule:

- Opening ceremony: 19 July 2013
- Dates of competition: 20 July - 4 August 2013
- Closing ceremony: 4 August 2013
