Kitajima back in the race

Japan’s Olympic gold medallist Kosuke Kitajima will return to competitive swimming after a 2-year break. The breaststroke swimmer is currently training at a swimming camp in the USA and will soon compete at the Japan Swim 2010, taking place at the Tokyo Tatsumi International Swimming Complex on April 13, 2010.

Japan’s busy synchro and water polo competition schedule
The Japanese Synchronised Swimming Championships Open will be held at the Tokyo Tatsumi International Swimming Complex from May 2-5, 2010.
The FINA Water Polo World League Asia-Oceania Round will be held at the Osaka Pool from May 19-23, 2010. In the Men’s field, the teams of Japan, Australia, China, Iran, Kazakhstan and New Zealand will compete against each other. As for the Women, Japan, Australia, China and Kazakhstan will strive for victory.
Only two teams from the Men’s and Women’s Asia-Oceania tournament will qualify for the Super Final, which will take place in Nis, Serbia, on July 13-18, 2010, for the Men and from June 28 to July 3, 2010, in California (city to be confirmed), USA, for the Women.
