The "Mexican princess of diving", Paola Espinosa, announced her official schedule for the year 2010; she will defend her title as World Champion in the 10m platform in six events (see below).
When asked about her 2010 schedule, Paola Espinosa said she has worked hard to prepare her list of upcoming events and confirmed she will attend the three meets of the 2010 FINA Diving World Series.

"This year, I have to give 100% to represent my country," said the World Champion.

She added: “It will be my official return to the 3m springboard event. In addition to the 10m platform, where I feel pretty good, I also would like to come back to the springboard, an event that I like and in which I can have a good degree of difficulty. I am preparing for the next Olympic Games with this in mind.”

The challenge for Paola Espinosa in 2010 is “to be among the best for my country; I have much respect for the divers from other countries, especially for those competing in the women's 10m platform, where the level is high.”

Espinosa will have a new partner in synchronised diving, coming from the young athletes who train with her at the new pool in Mexico City (CEFORMA) under the supervision of coach Ma Jin.

World Champion Paola Espinosa will surely have a busy year in 2010:  on March 27-28, DWS China (Qingdao), on April 16-17, DWS in Mexico (Veracruz), on April 23-24, DWS in Great Britain (Sheffield); from April 30 to May 2, National Diving Championships, on June 2-6, FINA World Cup (China) and July 19-24, XXI Central American and Caribbean Games in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico.
